Dr. Amara Lynch

Dr. Amara Lynch joined The Developmental Edge® after 10 years in the education sector. At TDE, Amara supports various aspects of the firm’s work, including coaching, outreach, and data analysis.

Amara has spent much of her career crisscrossing the United States, working in public and charter school settings and developing expertise in dual-immersion education, curriculum design, the International Baccalaureate programs, innovative school models, budget management, recruitment & hiring, and project management. Her current learning agenda focuses on coaching and the principles of the Deliberately Developmental Organization®, which brought her to The Developmental Edge®.

Amara earned a bachelor’s degree in International Relations, a master’s in K-12 Education with an International Baccalaureate certification, and a Doctorate of Education (EdD) with a focus on learning, leadership, and organization development. Amara is passionate about her family and loves spending time with her husband, Mike, and two young sons, Asher and Emmett. She lives in Atlanta, GA, but doesn’t let anyone forget that she is a “Mainer” at heart.
