For more than 30 years, Dr. Lisa Laskow Lahey has specialized in identifying personal and organizational impediments to change. She has personally helped thousands of individuals and groups unpack and understand these insights, and ultimately break free of unproductive habits to achieve personal and professional goals.
A world-renowned author on adult education and development, Dr. Lahey co-authored An Everyone Culture with TDE’s Fleming, Kegan & Miller. Her successful research partnership with Kegan has produced foundational books on adult development and earned her global praise, including for Immunity to Change: How to Overcome It and Unlock the Potential in Yourself and Your Organization and How the Way We Talk Can Change the Way We Work, among others. She is the co-author of Change Leadership: A Practical Guide for Transforming Our Schools.
Dr. Lahey is a faculty member and lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. For her seminal research, creation of developmental diagnostics and models, and prolific writing on adult development, Dr. Lahey has earned numerous awards, notably Boston University’s Gislason Prize for contributions to organizational leadership.
Dr. Lahey is an inspirational speaker whose passion for adult education, women’s development, diversity and inclusion, and care for the aged has earned her special attention from the healthcare, nonprofit, and education sectors. She is the former associate director of Harvard’s Change Leadership Group, a national project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to build greater internal capacity to lead organizational improvements in US public school districts.
Dr. Lahey is the co-founder and owner of Minds at Work, TDE’s sister organization, which focuses on coaching and teaching the Immunity to Change® Model to individuals, organizations, and management consultants.
